Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Natural Writer Extension and its website handle personal information. This is an initial policy for the service under development; it must be reviewed against the final production implementation before accepting customers.
Information we process
When you create an account, we may process your email address, account identifier, profile details, authentication events, and account preferences. We maintain writing credit balances, usage transactions, subscription status, and payment references needed to operate the service. Payments are handled through Stripe; payment card information is entered with Stripe rather than our website.
Writing content
The extension processes text you choose to enter into supported editors. We intend to minimize transmission and retention of writing content. We do not promise that writing content never leaves your device until the released extension and its integrations have been audited. Content you enter into third-party editors is also governed by those editors’ privacy policies.
How information is used
We use account and usage data to authenticate users, deliver the service, enforce credit limits, process purchases, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, and respond to support requests. We may process technical data needed for security and reliability.
Service providers
We use Supabase for account and database infrastructure, Vercel for website hosting, and Stripe for payment processing. These providers may process information as necessary to provide their services, under their respective terms and privacy notices.
Retention and security
We retain information as needed to operate accounts, satisfy legal and accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and prevent fraud. We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account information, subject to applicable legal retention obligations. Privacy rights vary by jurisdiction. To submit a request, use the Support page.
Updates
We may update this policy as features change. Material changes will be communicated where required by law. Review the effective date above for the current version.
